Senior Full-Stack Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to drive the core platform forward. You will work across our Next.js frontend and Laravel backend, building the features that 850+ vehicles depend on daily — from fuel variance dashboards to real-time dispatch views.
What you’ll do
- Design, build, and ship features across the full stack (React/Next.js + Laravel/PHP)
- Own the architecture of high-throughput modules like trip tracking and fuel reconciliation
- Collaborate directly with logistics operators to validate feature designs
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering culture
- Write tests, review PRs, and maintain code quality standards
- Participate in on-call rotation for platform reliability
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js
- Production experience with Laravel (PHP) or similar backend frameworks
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and multi-tenant SaaS architectures
- Experience building data-heavy dashboards and reporting features
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in logistics, transport, or fleet management domains
- Familiarity with African payment systems and compliance workflows
- Experience with Tailwind CSS and modern design systems
- Open-source contributions or technical writing
